To meet the requirements of governmental policy and the market, and to keep abreast with the trends of the knowledge economy, our curriculum emphasizes the balance between theory and practice and the integration of humanities & arts with digital media technology.
The curriculum for first- and second-year students are foundation courses, while that for third- and fourth-year students are profession-oriented, such as graphics, advertisement, packaging, multimedia design, illustration etc.
To prepare our students for the workplace, and familiarizing them with authentic situations, we implement a strict and demanding training project called “Graduation Project Design” in their fourth year to enhance our students’ planning and executing ability. Students select one from the following four modules: Graphic design module, Packaging design module, and Multimedia module (website design, animation creation), and Applied Art module (illustration and decoration design) for this project.
