▍001 Daxi Historic District Co-Design Pla
Wang Kaili/Zhang Dizhen/Wu Jiarong/Cai Ziyao
The First Commercial Store is located on Central Road in Daxi. Although it is inconspicuous, it retains many stories and living habits of the residents of Daxi, a once prosperous old town. It is a unique store worth visiting when in Daxi. This plan was carried out by the Mingchuan University team to re-image. A team of four people, Wang Kaili, Zhang Dizhen, Wu Jiarong and Cai Ziyao, spent a year interviewing and investigating the No. 1 Commercial Bank, redesigning its story and image, from image and display , promotional and product planning to find the splendor and vitality it deserves. The exhibition displays the design results and execution process, which is a valuable experience in local cultivation and industry-government-academia exchanges and interactions.
▍002 Time Travel – Exhibition of Wang Kaili’s Space Drawing Creation Achievements
The most fascinating thing about illustrated maps is the freedom of expression, which allows the creator to use various drawing media according to the theme, whether it is emotional, humorous, or exaggerated and satirical. Through pen and ink, the scenic spots and cultural characteristics of the region are presented. The author has been engaged in map illustration creation and teaching for many years, and has accumulated considerable teaching materials and creative achievements. Therefore, through the exhibition of four series of works in “Time Travel”, he would like to interpret his experiences and thoughts on illustrated maps in recent years, and try to design Share the map with viewers in a map format that is different from the past.
