▍Concept Statement
In 1936, Walter Benjamin foresaw the disappearance of the “aura” under mechanical reproduction. Ninety years later, amid the overwhelming surge of AI-generated imagery, this exhibition revisits his theory to reinterpret the transformation and reconstruction of contemporary visual perception.
When “reality” itself can be computationally fabricated, we are confronted with an uncertain post-aura condition: have we reached the ultimate liberation of art, or have we become fragmented data stripped of material grounding?
We invite you to experience this exhibition and re-examine the value of creation in an age where anxiety and liberation coexist, and where the meaning of art is once again in question.
