Exhibition Period: December 5–20, 2025
Venue: Warehouse No. 11, Chung Yuan Creative Park
The Departments of Commercial Design at Ming Chuan University and Chung Yuan Christian University partnered with the Taoyuan Youth Affairs Bureau for the “Plant-Inspired Taoyuan” Youth Design Laboratory Project, creating packaging designs for five local plant brands.
Students from Ming Chuan’s junior-level Packaging Design course participated, engaging in a three-month process from field research to design production, completing 60 packaging works. The project emphasized concept development, material usage, and sustainable design, fully showcasing the students’ creativity and professional skills. Among these, 15 selected works were exhibited at Warehouse No. 11, Chung Yuan Creative Park, with Gold Awards and a Mayor’s Special Award presented at the opening ceremony—congratulations to all awardees!
Special thanks to Vice Dean Li for coordinating resources, the Taoyuan Youth Affairs Bureau for recognizing student creativity, and the five collaborating plant brands for providing valuable hands-on experience. The Department of Commercial Design continues to promote sustainability- and service-oriented design education, using industry-academia collaborations to make student creativity more relevant to societal needs.
