Assistant Professor Wang Chiung-Fen from the Department of Commercial Design has received the Outstanding Project recognition for the third time. Her project, titled “Integrating Generative AI and Design Thinking in the Teaching Practice of a Packaging Design Course,” incorporates generative AI and design thinking into the junior-level “Packaging Design” course. Through early-stage training in design methodologies followed by AI-assisted design and project-based practice, the course aims to cultivate students’ abilities in systematic thinking, cultural creativity, and innovative application. The outcomes have not only been publicly presented but have also achieved excellent results in competitions.
