Designed and directed by Assistant Professor Su Wen-Hsiang from the Department of Commercial Design at Ming Chuan University, the project was carried out through an industry–academia collaboration model, in partnership with designer Shih Che-An from Jingdian Design. Centered on the core concept of “urban aesthetic regeneration,” the project comprehensively establishes the identity system for the Zhubei City Office, covering the main visual identity, applied visual designs for various departments, and the extension of the overall institutional image—demonstrating a modern, sustainable, and locally integrated urban spirit.
The complete identity system design stood out at the 2025 Taiwan Golden Star Design Award, earning the Jury Special Award. This recognition not only affirms the professional excellence of the design team, but also symbolizes a successful model of industry–academia collaboration in local public design and educational practice, laying a solid foundation for the Department of Commercial Design at Ming Chuan University in integrating teaching with professional practice.
